The Ei186 is a low voltage optical smoke alarm with backup battery designed for use with suitable 8-30 volt control panels. The alarm has relay contacts (normally open and closed) for connecting to a panel and its associated devices.

  • 5 year warranty
  • A maximum of 12 units can be interconnected via 3 core interconnection cable
  • Alarms that can be interconnected include:
  • Easi-fit mounting plate
  • Suitable for installations complying to BS 5839-6: 2013 Grade D, E and F (can conform to grade C if used with the appropriate control equipment)
  • Kitemarked to BS EN 14604:2005
  • CE marked
  • Optical Chamber - quick response to visible smouldering smoke
  • Integral relay offering selectable continuous or pulse operation
  • Test button
  • Separate mains and warning LEDs for easier identification of alarm status
  • Supply voltage 10.5 to 30 volts
  • Low power cell warning in the event of a mains or cell failure
